Cathy has been a member of the Cape Cod Athletic Club for 24 years but didn't start running until her late 30's. With marathon bests of 3:15 recorded at both New York City and Boston, her forte is shorter distance races winning multiple senior awards at the Falmouth Road Race and recording a top-100 finish at the Tufts 10K for women. While she still runs and swims on a regular basis, she only periodically joins in a race, having passed that torch on to the children. Son Jake currently runs for the Georgetown Running Company in Washington, DC (14:58 5K, 31:22 10K) and daughter Kate trains with the Greater Boston Track Club (18:46 5K, 3:18 Boston - 2008).
