Brian Kelly [Joe Navas]

Biography

A track coach at Wixon and assistant coach for the DY Spring Track team, Brian Kelly has been a lifelong educator, both in his career as a teacher at Dennis-Yarmouth High School and in his various roles with the Cape Cod Athletic Club and other local organizations. Unofficial club historian, Brian served on the CCAC board of directors for 10 years and as newsletter editor and co-editor for 7 years. An early founding member of the club, he was instrumental in organizing the 30th anniversary celebration and in creating the CCAC Hall of Fame.

Athletic Accomplishments

In 34 years, Brian Kelly has competed in 33 marathons and over 1200 road races and he continues to race regularly in area road races and multisport events. He was the first to run 25 consecutive New Bedford Half Marathons and has completed a dozen Mt. Washington Road Races.
