Biography

Ray is a professional triathlete (Ironman professional program member and USAT Elite licensed) who coaches beginners and top age-groupers for triathlon, is a private swim instructor (professional ocean rescue for 10 years), and also provides higher-end personal training services. His training plans are custom created, taking into consideration careers and family obligations. He specializes in working within heart rate parameters, providing day to day detail for swim, bike and run training, suggesting races for "training" or the “A” race. Ray is a strong believer in strength training/core fitness. For some of his athletes, he works one-on-one in dynamic strength training, group rides, track sessions, open water swims, and transition practice.
